1. Scope

This policy applies to Omni Terminal pay-per-request x402 API and MCP products settled in USDC on Base or Base Sepolia. It does not cover subscriptions, trading activity, gas paid to a network, or products sold by another provider.

2. Eligible cases

A settlement may be eligible for review when:

  • the settlement succeeded but Omni returned no paid response or a server error;
  • the same request was charged more than once because of an Omni or facilitator fault; or
  • the delivered response materially failed the published product contract.

3. Normally not refundable

A successfully settled request that returned a valid response is a delivered digital service and is normally final. Buyer mistakes, incompatible buyer software, market moves, downstream trading outcomes, and network or facilitator fees not received by Omni are not normally refundable. This does not limit rights that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

4. How to request a review

Email [email protected] within seven calendar days. Include the Base transaction hash, requested product or route, approximate UTC time, and a short description of the failure. Never send a private key, seed phrase, signed payment payload, or trading credential.

5. Review and payment

During the commercial pilot, Omni reviews requests manually against the on-chain transfer, settlement record, and service logs. If approved, the refund is sent only to the original payer address and is limited to the amount Omni received for the affected product. We aim to acknowledge requests within five business days, but complex chain or facilitator investigations may take longer.

6. Abuse and changes

We may reject fraudulent, duplicate, or abusive requests. We may update this policy as the pilot matures; the policy in effect when the settlement occurred will guide the review.
