Funding
Move funds only after checking network, asset and destination.
USDC in your EVM wallet and USDC credited to your Hyperliquid account are different balances. A bridge transaction, exchange credit and an available trading balance are separate stages.
At a glance
Why It Matters
What traders and researchers should take away
- Deposits, withdrawals and collateral transfers need the appropriate wallet signature; an agent trading key is not funding authority.
- Use the amount and minimum shown by the selected route, not a universal deposit minimum.
How it works
What the product uses behind the scenes
- The native bridge selects Arbitrum for mainnet and Arbitrum Sepolia for testnet. Other offered routes must be reviewed separately.
Notes
Things to know
- Source-chain gas may be required in addition to the asset being transferred.
- Submitting or confirming a transaction does not prove funds have arrived at the destination.
Guide
Steps
- Open funding for the correct account
Use Deposit or Withdraw in the desktop header; on mobile open Assets. Verify network, selected account and connected scoped wallet. Use Reconnect Scoped Wallet when prompted.
- Review the route and sign deliberately
For a deposit, check source chain, exact token, destination, gas and the displayed minimum. For a withdrawal, check the destination address and withdrawable amount. Read the wallet request before signing.
- Verify arrival
Follow Deposits and Withdrawals and the relevant transaction status. Wait for the destination balance and available collateral to update before trading or sending again. If pending, inspect the original transaction instead of blindly repeating it.

Open the workflow
- Open the terminal Review funding in the intended account; this link does not submit a transfer.
Already funded, but unavailable?
The selected margin mode determines which balance can support an order.
- Spot, default perps, HIP-3 DEX balances and isolated collateral are not interchangeable in every account mode.
- Use Manage Collateral and review the proposed route, source and destination. Do not assume portfolio margin makes every asset withdrawable.
- Adding collateral to the account is a wallet-signing action; editing a supported isolated position margin setting is a trading action. Read the actual prompt rather than treating both as a deposit.
Recover without duplicate transfers
A stale view is not evidence of a lost transfer.
- Check the selected network and account, transaction hash, source receipt and destination credit separately.
- A rejected quote or unsupported route is not a completed transfer. Recheck eligibility and available source gas.
- If a confirmed transfer has no destination credit, retain its hash and ask support to investigate; do not publish wallet secrets or signed payloads.
